UNEā€™s womenā€™s basketball team featured in two online articles

The Portland Press Herald (online) and Seacoastonline featured stories on February 8 and 9, respectively, about UNEā€™s womenā€™s basketball team.  Both stories reported on the results of the USA Today Division III Coaches Poll, which ranked UNEā€™s team 25th in the nation.

Coach Anthony Ewing was interviewed for the articles, as were several players.

The Seacostonline story, ā€œPHS grad Brown finds early success with UNE basketball,ā€ highlights freshman center Alicia Brown.  ā€œSheā€™s exceeded what I thought sheā€™d be able to do this year,ā€ Ewing said of Brown, ā€œbut she hasnā€™t exceeded her potential.ā€

UNEā€™s womenā€™s basketball team currently boasts a 19-2 record.
